Sofia is a compassionate Nurse Practitioner with a robust clinical foundation in emergency and primary care. With experience in geriatric care, Sofia is deeply passionate about healthy living for longevity, vitality, and quality of life across the lifespan. As such, her expertise in age-related cognitive function drives her multi-modal and person-centered approach, one that prioritizes dignity and individualized support for every individual. Additionally, her global health education and internship have enriched her practice, giving her a deep appreciation for cultural diversity and equipping her to thoughtfully honor each patient's values, beliefs, and lived experiences when building their plan of care.

Sofia's admission to the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, along with her recognition as a National Bank Research Award recipient for organizational quality improvement, speaks not only to her academic excellence but to her commitment to enhance the patient care experience.
