Here's how the process works
Pre-Insertion Consultation
We'll talk through your contraceptive goals and medical history, help you choose the right IUD, do STI testing if needed, and come up with a pain management plan.
The Insertion
The procedure takes about 60 minutes. Cervical numbing and inhaled pain relief (Penthrox) is available. Most people go back to normal activities the next day.
Follow-Up
We'll see you for a follow-up to check the strings, make sure everything looks good, and address any concerns you have.
Pain Management Options
