We test for chlamydia, gonorrhea, trichomoniasis, syphilis, HIV, hepatitis A, B, and C, herpes (HSV-1 and HSV-2), mycoplasma, ureaplasma, and HPV. Your NP will recommend which tests make sense based on your situation.

Book an appointment through the Care& app. Your NP will do baseline bloodwork, discuss your risk profile, and write the prescription if PrEP is right for you. The whole process usually takes one visit.

Yes. Your results are stored securely in your Care& health record and are only shared with you. We don't contact partners or report to employers. Public health reporting of certain infections (HIV, syphilis, gonorrhea) is required by law, but your name is kept confidential.

It depends on your risk factors. Sexually active people with new or multiple partners should consider testing every 3-6 months. People on PrEP get tested quarterly as part of monitoring. Your NP can recommend the right schedule for you.

We don't offer anonymous testing, but all testing is confidential. Your results are part of your secure health record and aren't shared with anyone without your consent.

For some infections, yes. If your NP suspects a specific infection based on symptoms, they can start treatment right away while waiting for lab confirmation.

Most Ontario drug plans cover PrEP (Truvada or Descovy). If you don't have coverage, we can help you apply for the Trillium Drug Program or manufacturer assistance programs. Your NP will walk you through the options.
