STI Testing in Toronto

Confidential testing and treatment at both clinic locations

What We Test For

Routine and targeted STI screening based on your risk factors and sexual history. All testing is confidential and results are available through your patient portal.

  • Chlamydia and gonorrhea
  • Trichomoniasis
  • Syphilis
  • HIV
  • Hepatitis A, B, and C
  • Herpes (HSV-1 and HSV-2)
  • Mycoplasma and ureaplasma
  • HPV

How STI Testing Works

Testing is done at our on-site lab during your appointment. No separate trip to an external lab. Your NP will recommend which tests make sense based on your situation, and results typically come back within a few days.

If a test comes back positive, your NP will walk you through treatment options right away. For PrEP patients, STI screening is part of your regular quarterly monitoring.

STI testing is included in your Family Practice membership. Pay-per-use patients can book a sexual health visit at $100.

Yes. PrEP consultations, prescriptions, monitoring, and quarterly lab work are all included in your $450/year Family Practice membership. The medication itself is covered by your drug plan.
You start with an initial visit for assessment and baseline labs, then a follow-up at 1 month. After that, you come in every 3 months for ongoing monitoring (HIV test, kidney function, STI screening). All included in your membership.
Yes, completely. Your health information is protected by PHIPA (Ontario's privacy law). We never share your care details with anyone without your explicit consent. Not employers, not family, not partners.
We need to wait for your baseline labs (HIV, kidney function) to come back normal before prescribing, which typically takes about a week. Once results are in, we can prescribe PrEP right away.
PrEP works best when taken daily, but occasional missed doses happen. We'll talk through strategies to stay on track. If you want to stop, we'll work with you on a plan and discuss other ways to stay protected.
