Amy Mangat, RPN

Amy Mangat is a compassionate and dedicated Registered Practical Nurse with a strong foundation in both clinical and community health settings. She began her healthcare journey over a decade ago as a Medical Laboratory Assistant, gaining valuable experience in phlebotomy, diagnostics, and patient interaction before transitioning into nursing. Since becoming an RPN, she has worked across hospitals, walk-in clinics, outreach programs, and long-term care, steadily building a well-rounded understanding of patient needs at every stage of life.

For over a year, Amy has been part of the Care& Family Health team, where she provides patient-centered care through assessments, immunizations, blood work, chronic disease screening, and health education. Colleagues describe her as warm, approachable, and exceptionally reliable. She communicates clearly, stays calm under pressure, and creates a safe, comfortable environment for every patient she encounters.

Her experience in sexual health, primary care, Covid assessment and management, diabetic retinopathy screening, wound care, and emergency outreach has shaped her into a versatile and confident clinician. Amy's approach is rooted in empathy and cultural humility, and she is committed to empowering patients with knowledge while ensuring they feel heard, supported, and respected.
