Family Nurse Practitioner
Yasmin Tarrant is a compassionate and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong clinical foundation in acute medicine and neurosurgery, now practicing in primary care. She is passionate about providing comprehensive, patient-centered care across all ages and stages, with a focus on health promotion, chronic disease management, and empowering patients to take an active role in their wellbeing.
As a former Clinical Instructor with the Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing at the University of Toronto, Yasmin has been actively involved in educating and mentoring the next generation of nurses, helping bridge the connection between theory and real-world clinical practice. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes curiosity, confidence, and compassionate communication as key elements of excellent care.
Known for her approachable manner and thoughtful clinical style, Yasmin is deeply committed to building trust and fostering genuine rapport with her patients, while cultivating a supportive, inclusive healthcare environment.
Outside of work, she finds balance through fitness and long walks with her miniature dachshund, who never fails to keep her on her toes.
