If you anticipate needing virtual care options or expect to require multiple appointments throughout the year, our Family Practice membership ($450 annually) would likely be more suitable and cost-effective for your needs, as it includes unlimited virtual and in-person visits. Our Episodic Healthcare option is ideal for those who primarily need occasional in-person care for specific concerns without the commitment of an annual membership.

We understand that plans change, which is why Care& Family Health offers a straightforward cancellation policy for our Episodic Healthcare appointments. If you need to cancel or reschedule, you can do so directly through our app or web portal up to 4 hours before your scheduled appointment time to receive a full credit to your Care& account (not a direct refund to your payment method). This credit can be applied to future appointments at your convenience. For cancellations with less than 4 hours’ notice or for no-shows, the full appointment fee is charged with no credit issued. This policy helps us manage our providers’ schedules efficiently and ensures appointment slots don’t go unused when they could serve other patients. Our $100 per-visit fee for Episodic Healthcare represents the direct cost of providing this enhanced experience without the constraints of the provincial billing system. While OHIP doesn’t cover our services, many patients receive partial or full reimbursement through private insurance plans, particularly through healthcare spending accounts (HSAs) or paramedical benefits that include Nurse Practitioner services.
